  • What types of products do you use?
We use a variety of professional products. Hair products can range from Redken, Big Sexy Hair, Kenra and Sebastian. Makeup products can range from MAC, Laura Mercier, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Too Faced and Dinair airbrush.
  • Can I use my own makeup?
You can certainly use your own makeup if this is what you are most comfortable with. We want you to feel your best on your wedding day and will do what it takes to get you there.
  • How will I keep my makeup looking fresh all day if you are not there?
The products we use are top of the line. We use primers and setters to ensure your makeup stays put. You should also have your own lipstick to reapply throughout the day. These are things we can purchase for you and add to your invoice or we can let you know where you can purchase them on your own. We can talk about all of these details during the consultation.
  •  Are you able to use hair extensions?
We can definitely use hair extensions. We just recommend you have them with you at the time of your consultation.
  •  Are you able to do provide false eyelashes.
We can provide false eyelashes for a $15 fee.
  •  Should I have my hair washed and dried before you arrive the day of the wedding?
This is a personal preference. If you typically wash your hair everyday and do not feel as fresh without doing so, by all means wash and dry it that morning. We have products we can use to get a little more oomph from your hair if it’s freshly washed. The only thing we ask is that everyone’s hair is completely dry when we arrive so the day goes smoothly!
  •  Will you come on-site for other events besides weddings?
Absolutely! We have done on-site hair and/or makeup for bachelorette parties, engagement photos, boudoir sessions, galas, family photo shoots, editorial photo shoots and lessons. We would love to help you out with any of your upcoming beauty needs.
  • What type of payment do you accept?
    We accept cash or check.
  • Is tip included in the service price?
Gratuity is not included in the service price. If you feel we did a beautiful job, let us know.

    Bride Consultations

  • How far in advance should the consultation be?
Consultations are typically done 2-6 weeks before the wedding date.
  • What is a consultation and what happens during it?
A consultation is your time to work with your artist on the look you want to have on your wedding day. Bring photos of looks you like and don’t like along with any jewelry you will wear or hairpieces. You will practice a few options for hair and/or makeup until you get the feel you love. Depending on the services you are requesting it can last from 60-120 minutes.
  • Do you provide recommendations for what would look good or would I be responsible for coming with a plan of what I wanted done?
We always recommend you bring a few photos of looks you like and don’t like. This is a great starting point for you and your artist. However, if you don’t have anything, your artist can ask a series of questions that will help you both narrow down the best look and feel.
  • Where is the consultation done?
Consultations are done at the studio downtown St. Paul.
